I Awoke: Chapter the Sixth - Rasetsu the Oni God

Haruka’s brain did not even try to understand the reality before her eyes.

“Kimino…?”

She put on the usual smile and called to her childhood friend who stood in her way with arms crossed and a haughtily evil smile on her face.

This girl had been with Yume and Ryou like a sister since they were little. She was bright and straightforward and she had never done anything bad in her life. Yet now that childhood friend was acting like she was the leader of these delinquents who were indisputable human garbage.

Those men had been spewing filthy language and committing atrocities as they saw fit, but now they kneeled obediently behind Kimino.

What had happened to her?

When had she started working with people like that?

Haruka had not the slightest clue.

The shock had dulled her mind to the point that the questions just endlessly circled around her head.

Why had Kimino had those men attack Yume?

For what reason had she put Haruka through this ordeal?

How had she known Haruka was Ichijou Ryou’s genderbent form?

That had been a secret even from Yume.

Only Haruka’s parents, her aunt and uncle, the main Ichijou family, and the school headmaster knew.

“You look confused.”

Harem Sister: Chapter 2 - Service

“How are you feeling?”

With her face white and clothing red, Euphoria quietly approached the bed and asked her question.

This seemed to be a room in the Vermilion Bird Temple’s Milka Cathedral where she served as Priestess. The large window was open, allowing in the refreshing sunlight and warm breeze of summer. Hilcruz lay on the immaculate bed there.

“Not bad…”

Hilcruz lay on his side and sullenly answered the beautiful woman whose divine aura almost seemed to create a visible halo behind her.

He tried to sit up as a courtesy to the woman who had saved his life, but he gave up when intense pain ran through him and he nearly cried out. He just barely restrained himself because he did not want to shamefully scream in front of women and children.

“That is good to hear. You were asleep for three days.”

Euphoria showed no offense at his harsh attitude and stared down at the stubborn boy as she calmly answered.

Her red hair looked like melted rubies and her light purple eyes were as cold and clear as glasswork.

Hilcruz had grown up in the royal palace, so he was accustomed to seeing beautiful women. For example, Ishtar’s Queen Gloriana was beautiful enough to send a shiver down the spine of anyone who saw her. Men gathered around her like ants to sugar.

(But this woman is different. She’s just as beautiful as Gloriana, but she inspires more awe than lust.)

Adolescent Adam 4: Chapter 7 - Mutsuki and Ange

“Zh! Gh! Gaaaaahhhhhhh!!”

In FeTUS’s deepest laboratory which was known as the Sanctuary, Metatron Ange, the lightning of god, continued fighting Alice Arc, mankind’s greatest mind.

Ange had shattered the tanks in the walls and vaporized the liquid within, but she had not managed to land a lethal blow on Miss A.

Nor had she been able to avoid her opponent’s attacks.

The purple lightning magic circle continued to ensnare her and its sparks built up the damage inside her.

“Kgah…khah…pant, pant.”

No matter where she dodged, it stuck with her like a remora. And no matter how much she attacked, her opponent dodged it all with willow-like movements. Even Ange had to fall to her knees eventually.

“Finally worn out? A normal angel would have been incapacitated by the KW in five seconds, but you kept taking it for twenty minutes. You’re pretty tough.”

Miss A stood before the girl as the lightning continued to torment her.

Ange fiercely narrowed her golden eyes, but even the most hateful glare could not keep the attacks from hitting her.

Like a leaf avoiding a great blaze, the young girl who looked like she would break from a single strike moved back as much as her opponent approached and approached as much as her opponent moved back.

Black Cat was more nimble than Ange, yet not even she would have been able to pull this off. With all rational thought gone from her mind, Ange still wondered if this meant the girl had greater speed than Black Cat.
