I don’t often go to idol concerts, but I did used to work on a stage production.
Not on the stage, but backstage. I did the sound, the
lights, and even operated the spotlight. I wanted to include a scene about PGS3
meeting with the backstage workers for their concerts, but I had to cut it
since the novel was getting too long.
But whether it’s an idol concert or whatever else, you can’t
have a stage production with just the stars up on the stage. Idols would be
nothing without the backstage people preparing the stage for them and making
sure they shine while up there.
And of course, the backstage people can only work so hard
because of all the passionate fans supporting the idol.
Not that idols normally give sexual favors.
And yeah, this went well beyond what you could reasonably
call “favors”. But those girls aren’t the type to care about those little
details and it’s best not to think too much about the darker side of the
industry.
